Our Story
Terre Madri - Italian for motherlands - is a woman-led food venture rooted in reverence for land, culture and community. Our name reflects the commitment to the places that nourish us and the traditions that shape us. We strive to create food experiences that honor Italy's culinary heritage while embracing the bounty of Vermont.
Formerly serving at the base of Spruce Peak Mountain in Stowe for three years, we have expanded to Burlington to share our love of thoughtfully crafted Italian with the greater community.
We strive to offer dishes never seen before - inspired by many trips to the Emilia-Romagna region to visit family since young, the owner seeks to create menus that inspire new ideas around food that nourish people and place.
